​Graduate School ofShandongSportUniversity is a secondary school. It isresponsibleforthe construction and planning of graduate degree programs, ideological and political education, as well as the organization and implementation of graduate education; at the same time, it revises the postgraduate education management system and completes daily management tasks, such as enrollment, training, graduation and student management. Graduate School consists of the generalpartybranch,the general youth league branch, general office,admissionoffice,academic office, anddiplomaoffice.

Graduate School has an authorization point for masters of physical science education, including Humane and Sociological Science of Sports,SportsRehabilitation,Human Movement Science and Science of National Traditional Sports 5 secondary disciplines; otherwise, it has an authorization point for masters of physical science education, including Physical Education Teaching Specialty, Sports Training Specialty, Social Sports Guidance Specialty. In 2017, Graduate School ofShandongSportUniversity got Ph.D. project construction unit(2017-2023)inShandongprovince.

Graduate School has more than 310 high-level on-campus and off-campus postgraduate tutors, and 50 excellent experts, such as national candidates for the new century ten milliontalentproject,State Department special allowance experts, national outstanding contribution and experts, excellent middle-aged and young experts of the State Administration of sports, and 8 outstanding teaching andresearchteams.

In recentyears,postgraduate education revolves around the goal of the Ph.D. project construction unit, improving the level of running a school, and the discipline construction system based on physical education. GraduateSchoolcarried out the construction of postgraduate quality courses and teaching case bases. From 2016 to 2021, It has gotten 7 graduate education reform studies, 11 postgraduate quality courses and 13 teaching casebases.Since 2016, Graduate School of Shandong Sport Universityhas deepened exchanges and cooperation with famous universities, scientific research institutes and enterprises to promote the sustainable development of graduate practical education. 24 new joint training bases for postgraduates were added,includingShandong Sport University Graduate Education JointTrainingBase,Sports Rehabilitation Graduate Student JointTrainingBase.Sports-Health Production and Education Integrated GraduateTrainingBasewere rated as graduate students in Shandong Province Joint training baseconstructionproject.

Graduate School builds an international exchange platform. It also signed joint postgraduate training with the University of Texas Taylor Branch, Cardiff Metropolitan University, and Loughborough University; and jointly trained doctoral students with Beijing Sport University, Shanghai Sport University, and QufuNormalUniversity.

With the continuous improvement of the postgraduate training model, the quality of postgraduate education has improved significantly. In the past five years, 13 students have won the Excellent Master's Thesis, 10 students have won the Postgraduate OutstandingAchievementAward,16 students have been admitted to the Ph.D. degree, and 1 student has been awarded China Scholarship Council; many students have publishedinSportsBiomechanicsandotherjournals.

Graduate School of Shandong Sport University will focus on the key issues of the reform and development of graduate education in the new era in accordance withthe14th Five-YearPlanand the spirit of the National Graduate Education Conference, and cultivate high-levelappliedtalents.
